Powered by two Saturn Ly'ulka AF-37 Vectored Thrust turbofans with 32,000 pounds of thrust each, the Super Flanker can literally backflip in mid air, as well as pull off other manuevers impossible to all but a very limited number of combat aircraft: [link]

Armament includes one of the most powerful autocannons installed in any combat aircraft...in fact, only the A-10 Thunderbolt's GAU-8 Avenger hits harder.
Up to 16 hardpoints can be added and can accomodate nearly any air to air or air to ground weapon in the inventory.

Like all modern Russian fighters, the Su-37 employs an Infrared Search and Track system as its primary means of detecting and tracking targets while a Phazotron N-019 multimode radar serves as a secondary system. Detection and tracking range is estimated at 65 nautical miles, and so far it can engage two targets simultaneously. Projected upgrades will enable it to double, possibly even triple its engagement capablity, though whether this will be seen or not has yet to materialise.

Range, like those of all Flanker variants is impressive, and rumour has it that with three drop tanks it can fly all the way across Russia from east to west without refueling, a range of well over 10,000 miles.

Top speed is Mach 2.4, and a supercruise of Mach 1.3 is attainable.
