The first Generation 5 aircraft to enter service, and unfortunately the first one to end production, the F-22 Raptor.

Armed with 6x AIM-120 AMRAAM, 2x AIM-9 Sidewinders, 1x M61 Vulcan and 4x hardpoints for additional weaponry, the Raptor is one of the most capable combat aircraft in service today, matched only by the Su-37 Super Flanker and the ledgendary F-14 Tomcat.

The world's first true stealth fighter, its radar cross section is the same size as that of a bee, making it invisible to all but the most powerful and advanced radars. Only 187 of these formidable machines have been built, and they will be the only ones, production was forced to a halt in summer 2009 due to the economic recession.

Featuring 2 dimensional thrust vectoring, the Raptor's agility literally enables it to backflip in mid air and even fly forward while oriented perpendicular to the ground.
